    The National Closed Chess Championship 2011 will be organized as details below:-

    Date : 16th – 20th March 2011

    Venue: The Dato’ Arthur Tan Chess Center (DATCC)
    4th Floor, Wilayah Complex,
    No. 2, Jalan Munshi Abdullah
    Kuala Lumpur

    Organizer: MALAYSIAN CHESS FEDERATION (Co-organizer and hosted by DATCC)

    TOURNAMENT: 9 Rounds Swiss System Pairing (using Swiss Manager Pairing System)

    Time Control: 90 minutes plus 30 seconds per move per game per player

  • The 3rd National Junior 2010

    The 3rd National Junior Chess Championship will be organized as details below:-

    Date : 15th Dec – 19th Dec 2010

    Venue : HOTEL OLYMPIC, JALAN HANG JEBAT, KUALA LUMPUR

    Organizer : MALAYSIAN CHESS FEDERATION

    TOURNAMENT : 2 Categories ( Boys U-20 & Girls U-20 DOB on or after 1990 )

    Time Control: (90 minutes + 30 seconds increment from move 1)

    * This event is a FIDE-rated & National-rated event and open to all Malaysian citizens only.

  • MCF’s Woman Chess Bureau

    The Commissioner of Sports (COS) has approved the amendment of the Constitution of Malaysia Chess Federation (MCF), which reserved a vice president  post for woman. In MCF meeting dated 11 August 2010, MCF President – Tan Sri Ramli Ngah Talib has appointed Mrs.  Haslindah Ruslan to lead the post of Head MCF Women Bureau.
