The National Scholastic Championships 2016 will be held in Putrajaya, from the 3rd to 4th of December 2016. The Rubber Industry Smallholders' Development Authority (RISDA) is the Official Sponsor of the event.
The Championships is organized by the Malaysian Chess Federation (MCF) and co-organized by Institut Kerjasama Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (IKIAM) in cooperation with Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah Putrajaya (School of Global Excellence), Perbadanan Putrajaya and Majlis Belia Kawasan Putrajaya.
FIDE/MCF will create a new ID to the players who has no FIDE ID.
All Malaysian (only) players below the respective age-group before January the 1st, 2016 are eligible to participate in the National Scholastic Championship 2016. The players are eligible to play only in their own age groups.
The Championships will be part of Selection Policy for the Asian Schools or World Schools Championships.
Open U09, U11, U13, U15, U17 (+Best Girls).
The Organizer will award medals to the winners in all five Open categories, from the Champion to 10th places. The Sponsor organizer has guaranteed a cash prize fund of RM7,000 will be awarded to the winners in the Open categories. The final cash prizes distribution will be published after the registration close. The fees are strictly excluded from the prizes.
The Organizer will also award medals to each of the winners for the Best Girls, from the 1st to 10th places of each category.
FIDE/MCF will create a (free) new ID to the players who has no FIDE ID, without an additional fee.
The players must register by not later than 27th November. The fee is RM50.00, payable to Persekutuan Catur Malaysia, CIMB PWTC Branch, Account 80-0064972-5. The Organizer reserves the right to close the registration anytime after it reaches the maximum number of players.

You may first try the Test registration. The Test Registration is only a dummy tournament, you still have to register for actual Tournament from the Home page or click the appropriate age group below (updated 28th Nov., registration has closed):
